Hanauma Bay
Going to Hanauma Bay is a perfect beach day activity for families. Bring your whole family to learn a little about Hawaiian culture and rent snorkels to see fish closeup. There is an entrance fee, however it is very reasonable and there are many amenities that are available to you unlike traditional beaches. Let's also not forget to mention that this is one of the most picturesque beaches in all of Hawaii. Plan at least half a day as it can be a bit difficult to get to but it will definitely be well worth it for you and your family.
Aulani Luau
Luaus are a must-see if you want to experience the Hawaiian version of dinner and a show. The performances are great, educational, and always family-friendly. They offer a great buffet so this is also the best way to try many types of Hawaiian food at one time without having to pick and choose. Our recommendation at Aloha Outlet would be the luau show at Disney’s Aulani hotel. This show has fun, family-friendly activities that you can enjoy prior to the luau, as well as features a few of your favorite Disney characters throughout the performance. It may be a bit pricey, but where else will you see Mickey Mouse dancing hula?
